The Christmas Cabaret 2014, Arthur’s

A jolly Yuletide was had by all at our excellent Christmas Cabaret, in Arthur’s Live, 28 Thomas Street.  Thanks to the great crowd who joined us, including the crew from Meet-Up! Here are some fabulous photos (as always) from Michael Stamp.   Performers were:  Hostess Helena Mulkerns and Pianoman Josh Johnston;  author and poet Mary O’Donnell;  Tribal fusion bellydance from Nadia Gativa; author and poet Philip Casey;  Singer-songwriter Carol Keogh; Rebel Rebel frontman and Bowie channeller Peter Quinn; Dickensian Burlesque from the sassy Ms. Lola Gray;  the enigmatic and wonderful sounds of The Late David Turpin;  to, finally the splendid Christmas Carols from Caitríona O’Leary – whose album, “The Wexford Carols” went to No. 1 on the Billboard World Albums chart!  A Big thank you to Aileen Williams for all the Admin help, as well as Angharad!  To Conall for making us sound good and Karl at the bar.  Also, thanks to our generous raffle sponsors The Irish Film Institute, poet Eamon Carr (more links coming) for prizes, and Declan McKiernan for mince pies!  Click below for photo gallery …
