The Cáca Milis Lunasa Love-In Cabaret, 26 August 2011

To celebrate the ancient God Lugh’s harvest festival, we decided to do a rather belated Lunasa party at the Cabaret.  The theme was late sixties/early seventies, with lots of hippy love songs and some hard rock as well.

There were several love-children an rock rebels, a Joni Mitchell/Leonard Cohen medley from Helena and Cyril and some excellent jazz from Blue Valentines.  Emerging artists Johnny Murphy, Erin Fornoff and Pearse McGloughlin traveled from Dublin to perform, and the inimitable Wexford Improv provided the Comedy. see some photos here, and this post will be updated with text very so check back for more pix and text.
